The purpose of this change
The purpose is enable users to set up tasks after cmake configure to enable automation.
Other Notes/Information
My particular use-case for this feature is post-processing the output of compile_commands.json generated by cmake. I am aware of the setting "copyCompileCommands" but in my case I need to, additionally to copying it, modify it. Adding a task automation is a generic solution to achieve that goal.
