I took some time to make this work with Darwin. I hope this helps @pavsa creating a makefile that can build for linux, darwin and windows.
I also had to update the hackrf repo in order to make it work with my hackrf device.
for those who don't want to build it, here's a Mac OS/Darwin release file:
