It's important for the signaling server to be reachable over the open internet so distant peers can connect, but it doesn't necessarily needs to be public. Currently, it's impossible to access a protected signaling server without introducing additional hops.
This change makes it possible to pass credentials via the remote address to access a protected signaling server.
