Other

Any other information relevant to this pull request? This may include screenshots, references, and/or implementation notes.

Implementation Notes:

  • Wrapper Strategy: Delegates logic to @stdlib/blas/ext/base/gfill. It extracts the data buffer, stride, and offset from the input ndarray and passes them to the base implementation.
  • API Consistency: The function signature is gfill( x, alpha ), consistent with other transformation operations, where x is the input ndarray and alpha is the scalar value to fill.
  • Generic Support: Designed to work with any underlying data type (Generic Arrays, Typed Arrays, etc.), handling both numeric and object values.
  • Stride Handling: Supports negative strides and non-zero offsets via the base implementation.

@stdlib-js/reviewers

Implements generic fill function for one-dimensional ndarrays.
- Fills ndarray with any JavaScript value (numbers, objects, etc.)
- Wraps existing strided gfill.ndarray implementation
- Supports non-unit strides, negative strides, and offsets
- Includes comprehensive tests, examples, benchmarks, and TypeScript definitions
Signature: gfill( x, alpha ) returns x (transformation operation)
