GitHub is deprecating Node.js 20 actions and will force Node.js 24 by default starting June 2nd, 2026. Migrate the action runtime from node20 to node24, upgrade @actions/core and @actions/exec to v3 (ESM-only), convert source files to ES modules, and update CI workflows and documentation.
