I have added a new project, 'HelloIOIOServlet'. It will turn the LED on, and allow you to turn it on/off using simple http. Simply navigate to http://localhost:8181/off to turn it off. There will be 2 links to go between On and Off states on the html page response.
It is pretty simple and straight-forward. I haven't had any problems with it (once upgrading my IOIO firmware to the latest version). However, let me know if it doesn't 'just work' for you.
