Ⅰ. Describe what this PR does

This PR addresses the security finding “Storage limits should be enforced in test/gha-e2e/juicefs/write_job.yaml”.

The code below demonstrates how to securely configure a Kubernetes Job with constrained resource usage by explicitly setting:

resources:
  limits:
    ephemeral-storage: "5Gi"

Ⅱ. Does this pull request fix one issue?

fixes #5350

Ⅲ. List the added test cases (unit test/integration test) if any, please explain if no tests are needed.

Ⅳ. Describe how to verify it

Run the test setup to see if there still remain code scanning alerts.

Ⅴ. Special notes for reviews

Summary of Changes

Hello @JiGuoDing, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request implements a crucial security enhancement by ensuring that a specific Kubernetes Job, used for testing JuiceFS, adheres to defined ephemeral storage limits. This change prevents potential resource exhaustion issues and resolves a reported security vulnerability, contributing to a more robust and secure testing environment.

Highlights

  • Security Fix: This pull request addresses a security finding related to the enforcement of storage limits within a Kubernetes Job configuration.
  • Resource Limits: Ephemeral storage limits have been explicitly set to '5Gi' for the 'write-job' container in the test/gha-e2e/juicefs/write_job.yaml file.

Code Review

This pull request correctly addresses a security finding by adding an ephemeral-storage limit to the write_job.yaml test file. This is a good security practice. I've suggested also adding a memory limit for consistency with read_job.yaml and to make the resource configuration more robust.

For consistency with read_job.yaml and to make resource configuration more robust, consider adding a memory limit as well. It's a best practice to set memory and CPU limits to prevent resource exhaustion.

            memory: "512Mi"
            ephemeral-storage: "5Gi"
